中国の英語能力スコアは「低学力」レベルに分類される世界62位で

スウェーデンの教育機関EFが最近発表したレポートによると、中国の英語能力スコアは「低学力」レベルに分類される世界62位で、2021年の49位、2020年の中学力レベルの38位から低下し、シンガポール（2位）、フィリピン（22位）、マレーシア（24位）、香港（31位）に大きく差をつけられているとした。中国本土での英語力の低下は近年の教育改革に伴う小中学校での英語教育時間の短縮が関係しているとした。
